Parks & Recreation Superintendent, City of Marysville

Salary Information:  This is an exempt, salaried position with a competitive benefits package and a compensation range of $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications.

The City of Marysville seeks a strategic, experienced leader to serve as Parks & Recreation Superintendent. This executive role involves overseeing parks, facilities, programming, staff, and budget. The Superintendent will lead the implementation of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan to enhance community quality of life through facility improvements (e.g., trails, indoor space) and expanded inclusive programming. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader deeply committed to upholding the highest standard of teamwork, public trust, transparency, and ethical conduct in all facets of divisional operations and community interaction.

Qualifications:
5 years relevant experience (3 in management). Bachelor's degree preferred.

Must obtain Class A CDL (1 year), CPRP (2 years), Certified Playground Inspector, Ohio Pesticide Applicator, and Certified Pool/Spa Operator (3 years).
